Speaking on Wednesday, the lawmaker said with the launch of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report, the party should reunite under President Uhuru Kenyatta and stick together.

He said the same should apply to all Kenyans, calling for outlawing of the three factions, which also enjoy support of some politicians from outsider parties.

Barasa called upon the National Intelligence Service (NIS) to ban the three groups, but spare the Inua Mama group, which he said is beneficial to Kenyans.

"There is no more Kieleweke, Tangatanga or Embrace. Let the NIS ban and outlaw them. But they should spare Inua Mama as it is beneficial to Kenyans. (Sasa hakuna Kieleweke, Tangatanga na Embrace. Ziwe outlawed and banned na NIS na Kenya iwe moja lakini Inua Mama iwachwe maana inasaidia wakenya)," he said.

The lawmaker made the remarks during an interview with Milele FM's Alex Mwakideu at the Bomas of Kenya on Tuesday.

Barasa said the release of the report also called for a reunion of party members, some of whom have been engaging each other in verbal wars and supporting rivals lately.

"Since nobody is fighting BBI anymore, let everybody return to their work. Let Kamanda and company return home. (Sasa kila mtu arudi afanye kazi yake, kina Kamanda warudi nyumbani kwa sababu hakuna yule anapinga BBI)," he added.
