Kisii business tycoon cum politician Don Bosco Gichana has said he will hold a giving mass on 10th November 2019, to mark 1st anniversary since he was released from a Tanzanian jail.
In a Facebook post, Don Bosco said God answered his prayers, and helped him get out of jail.
"On 10th November I'll be having a thanksgiving mass to mark 1st anniversary since God got me out of Tanzanian jail. Through your prayers which God answered and worked out miracles," he said.
He further noted that after the mass, he will preside over a function to raise funds for the construction of a chapel at Kisii University.
"I'll be the chief guest at the same venue in a fundraiser towards building a chapel at Kisii University. I chose that particular venue because that's where I was born and brought up in my early years. It is the same place that I started attending mass under the then college chaplain Fr. Rogers McGorty," Bosco said.
"I've invited a number of friends plus each and everyone I could not reach towards this noble cause to build a church as a way of me telling God thank you. Stay blessed. Amen," he added.
