Eldoret Catholic Bishop-elect Rt Rev Dominic Kimengich will be installed on 1st February 2020.
This is according to a letter dated 20th November 2019 signed by the Apostolic Administrator of the Eldoret Diocese Maurice Anthony Crowley.
“Please note that the New Bishop of Eldoret will be installed on 1st February 2020,” the letter read in part.
“In the meantime please pray for the installation of the Bishop-elect Rt. Rev. Dominic Kimengich. Wishing you all God's blessings,” it added.

Catholic Diocese of Eldoret has been without a substantive Bishop since October 30, 2017, following the death of Rt Rev Cornelius Korir.
Since the demise of Bishop Cornelius Korir, Kitale Diocese Bishop Maurice Anthony Crowley has been steering the Diocese as a caretaker Bishop.
The installation of the new Bishop is scheduled to be held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral in Eldoret.
Bishop Kimengich, 58, who previously was Bishop of Lodwar was named by Pope Francis to replace the late Bishop Cornelius Korir last week.
The letter of his appointment was sent to the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) by the Apostolic Nuncio to Kenya, Archbishop Bert van Megen.
