According to the 34-year-old striker, he is already in talks with KPL defending champions Gor Mahia, 2008 Champions Mathare United and 2009 Champions Sofapaka as he seeks a return to football action.

“Currently I have three options that include Gor Mahia, Sofapaka and Mathare United. I will for sure play in the Kenya Premier League this season. I am itching to make a return and I am confident that by January, I will have nailed a deal to mark my return,” Oliech is quoted by Goal.com.

He expressed optimism that he will still play for Harambee Stars after a long absence from the Sebastian Migne led side.

“I am yet to retire; I can come back to Harambee Stars. First of all, let me return to the local league and be the top scorer, then I will be good to return to the national team. I know I am good and I will score goals,” he said.

Oliech, famously known as the Menace, played for Mathare United between 2001 and 2003, before his football journey took him to Al-Arabi in Qatar, Nantes, Auxerre and Ajaccio in France and Dubai CSC in United Arab Emirates.

He has featured 72 times for Harambee Stars scoring 34 goals in return since 2002.

Oliech was among the players who represented Kenya in the 2004 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia.
