Quite for some time, many Kenyans have been hitting at Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho for what they said 'a dirty city' yet it is supposed to be an epicenter for tourism in the country considering the many tourist attraction sites.

What seems to be a response from Joho, the city is becoming beautiful day in day out. It all started with all the buildings painted in Egyptian blue and white. The move had several obstacles to a level of some business owners including Best Lady Cosmetics rejecting the move.

However, at last the county government had their way and almost all buildings within the city are now shining in blue and white. It is stunningly beautiful.

More so, there is another ongoing project within the city where pathway pavements are being covered with red cabro paving blocks.

With artificial grass being used to cover open spaces in the middle of the road, the city is once again becoming a place everyone will wish to visit.
