It is evident that Bruce Odhiambo was no ordinary person.
President Uhuru explained his close relationship with Bruce Odhiambo at Koru Primary School during Bruce Odhiambo's funeral ceremony.
In what can be seen as a great sign of true friendship, President Uhuru took a moment to shed light on his close relationship with Bruce.
"Bruce mentored very many young Kenyans including my own son Jomo. And that straightened him up. And that is a fact," stated the President.
Bruce Odhiambo schooled at the same school with president Uhuru and this might have kept their relationship closer. He explains Bruce as a man who had a passion for growing young people's dreams without making boundaries.
Bruce saw many young entertainers reach their dream.
"Bruce had no boundaries, political (and) class boundaries, he was open to all. When he was at the youth fund, his desire was to see how you could restructure that organisation and make it touch the lives of ordinary people," eulogised Uhuru.
Bruce Odhiambo was a former national youth fund chairman who resigned due to a Sh180 million scandal that struck a lot of controversy during his reign. He had a very close relationship with Jomo, the son of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Bruce succumbed to heart-related illness at the Nairobi hospital.
