Vocal Garissa Township legislator Aden Duale has revealed his favourite candidate in KTN's Ms President. show.
In a social media statement, Duale revealed that he will be supporting Umulkheir Harun from Garissa county as she battles other women in the show. This emerged after he met the aspirant at her parliament buildings office, Nairobi.
"I promised to support her initiatives especially mentorship ahead of the launch of Teach for Northern Kenya mentorship. I will also support her fully when she contests in the Ms President show aires on KTN Home every Wednesdays as she represents a diverse group of women and the youth," Duale revealed.
At the moment Umulkheir works with the Kesho Alliance Organization that seeks to improve the quality of education while championing for the rights of youths in Garissa County.
As for the Ms President reality show that was launched in January this year, the programme will bring in at least seventy-one contestants who will battle out for a grand prize, business empowerment and support, capacity building, networking opportunities, and a chance to get mentorship by both national and international organizations.
With Duale's endorsement, expectations are now high that Umulkheir will battle it out to become the overall winner.
