North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko argued that the planned meeting to discuss about the BBI report is a waste of time and resources.

According to the vocal lawmaker, he won't attend the BBI meeting.

"The BBI meeting is an ODM Party affair meant to give the party leader Raila Odinga a political mileage ahead of the 2022 polls. The organizers are allied to ODM Party and no member of the Jubilee party not even at the press conferences which have been so far held has been involved in planning the meeting," he said.

Nyamoko noted that despite the fact that he has been reached out by the organizers to attend the forum to be held at Kisii Sports Club, he will not show up for the meeting.

The legislator insisted that the funds being used to plan for the meeting should instead be used for development purposes given that the Gusii region lacks proper healthcare, good roads among other development the community desires to have.
