Police in Samburu are looking for a secondary school student accused of killing the father of a girl he was eyeing.
The form two student reportedly killed the man in Kawap, Samburu North, after his attempts to seduce his daughter flopped.
The accused had reportedly been attempting to woo the girl but she refused and reported the matter to her father.
It is when the father faced the suspect over the matter that he allegedly took a knife and stabbed him to death.
The incident was confirmed by area Chief Sammy Lothuru, who spoke to the Citizen Digital on Saturday.
The administrator added that the man died while being rushed to the Samburu County Referral Hospital in Samburu, succumbing to the knife injuries.
He added that a probe has been launched into the issue, as the suspect who went into hiding remaining at large.
The incident joins the list of many more love-related murders that have been recorded in the nation lately, the most popularized one being the murder of a Moi University student earlier in the week.
