DPP Nordin Hajji who is now celebrated as the country's savior as far as the fight against graft is handling several high profile cases, with the most recent being that of the Supreme Court Judge Ms Philomena Mwilu who also doubles as the deputy chief justice. 

The deputy CJ was arrested on Tuesday within the environs of the Supreme court.

Another mega case involves the Garissa County Governor Ali Korane Bunow who is linked to the attempted assassination of former county finance CEC. 

Just some days ago, the DPP had directed the office of the DCI to conduct speedy investigations into the incident that was threatening to spark off inter-clan retaliatory attacks in the North-Eastern county. 

As a matter of fact, the governor was arrested on Tuesday at the crack of dawn in his Nairobi residence and driven to the Kilimani police station for further interrogation.

Other cases include those of former governors including Evans Kidero who is alleged to have misappropriated public funds at a time when he was the city's governor.
