The MP last Thursday accused Uhuru of running down the economy and democracy, over claims that he is keen on extending his stay in power.

Osotsi now says that the remarks will not be taken lightly by members in support of Uhuru's leadership in the house and might be punished.

Speaking on Wednesday night, he suggested that they might have to unseat Wahome from her position as the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee Vice-Chair.

"You cannot be making such remarks yet you are the JLAC Vice-Chair. When we resume Parliament sittings we will look into her case. (Huwezi kuwa mwenyekiti mdogo wa JLAC na unaongea mambo kama hayo. Tukirudi bunge tutaangalia mambo yake)," Osotsi said on Radio Citizen's Pata Shika Show.

He also faulted the MP for heaping all the blame regarding Jubilee government's failures on Uhuru but sparing his deputy William Ruto.

According to Osotsi, the two should share the blame, on grounds that they share the government, and accused Alice Wahome of being selective because of her closeness to the DP.

"I was shocked to see Wahome only criticizing Uhuru for allegedly failing but sparing Ruto yet we know that they jointly formed the government. Each took 50 per cent. (Nilishangaa kuona Wahome akikosoa Uhuru na tunajua eti ameshindwa kazi na akawacha Ruto ilhali tunajua hawa waliunda serikali wote wawili wakichukua asilimia hamsini kwa hamsini)," noted the MP who was nominated by ANC party.

Alice Wahome is among the vocal Mt Kenya politicians who have openly defied Uhuru, opting to associate themselves with Ruto.
