In an interview on Radio Maisha Wednesday morning, the Bungoma Senator who was present at the religious function narrated how it was humiliating for Ruto when the Defense Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo read the president's speech instead of the DP.

The senator insinuated that Ruto should have been given the speech to read as he was second in rank to the president instead of giving a lower ranked cabinet member.

"Despite Ruto who is his deputy attending the function, Uhuru chose to use a Cabinet Secretary to deliver his speech. This shows you clearly that there is a problem between the two," he said on the Bunge La Maisha programme.

Last Saturday, Uhuru would again rub the insult in when he joined Raila for a trip around the city, without caring that Ruto and Raila are political rivals.

This, to many, was a demonstration that he trusts the former Prime Minister more, as they embarked on the tour without their usual heavy security detail.

The NASA co-principle added that this was a clear indicator that Jubilee Party was on its death bed and anything as it was headed for a bad course.

Such sentiments come at a time when some residents of Kisumu believe the president's appointment of CS Fred Matiang'i to chair the committee on the implementation of development programmes is a way of trimming the DP's powers hence sounds as a humiliation to the William Ruto.
