In a video shared on Facebook, Sabina said she was not aware of such an incident, adding that she was shocked to hear her name mentioned.

"When I heard that the member for Kandara had purported that we had plans of disrupting her meeting and this was a bursary meeting, I was taken aback," she said.

Speaking at a police station in Murang'a, Sabina said Wahome was yet to record a statement, adding that she is waiting for the latter to record hers, before she can also record her statement.

"We won't entertain monkey business in Murang'a. If you want to plan something, plan it well because I think it's important that the rule of law be followed. If there was something stage-managed always say, speak the truth and it will set you free," she said.

"Mheshimiwa Alice, she is the age of my mother and I'm the age of her daughter I don't think I need to engage her in petty issues," she added.
