Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz on Friday announced that he will be travelling to Nairobi to perform at the Tomorrow’s Leaders Festival that will be held at Kasarani Stadium today (Saturday).
The ‘Sikomi’ singer took to Instagram to break the news to his followers shortly after hosting The ‘One Man, One Mic’ show in Tanzania.
“NAIROBI!!! NAIROBI!!!! SEE YOU TOMORROW!!! KWA TOMORROW'S LEADERS FESTIVAL KASARANI STADIUM,” he posted on his Instagram account.
Diamond recently held a historic performance dubbed ‘One Man, One Mic” at Kahama in Tanzania. He performed his best songs for approximately five hours. His fans did not disappoint either as they came out in large numbers to support the ‘Tetema’ hitmaker.
“5 hours on the STAGE! Hii Historia sijaiandika mimi, nyie ndio mmefanya iandikike (I wouldn't have broken this record without your support),” read part of Diamonds Instagram post.
His presence at the Tomorrow’s Leaders Festival is expected to attract a lot of youngsters to the youth charity event whose theme is; 'If we lead the youth shall follow'.
The event will be hosted by Jeff Koinange and model Ajuma Nasenyana.
Some of the other top artists who will perform at the event include; Yemi Alade, Jose Chameleon, Morgan Heritage, Naiboi, Alaine, Femi One, Wyre, Jua Cali among others.
