Sonko says that county officials who will be implicated in graft should be ready to carry their own cross.

Speaking in Kangemi on Saturday, Governor Sonko said that he will personally hand corrupt employees to investigative agencies if they are implicated in any scandal.

"I will not wait for you to drag me to the courts and whoever engages in corruption must be ready to carry their cross," he said.

Governor Sonko said that his administration has put in place proper measures to guard against corruption.

He asked Nairobians to work with his government and expose rogue officers who are not delivering services.

Meanwhile, Governor Sonko says that suspended Health Minister Hitan Majvdia and County health director Thomas Ogaro will not be reinstated.

Sonko said that the two officers failed to deliver their duties and should forget about their jobs.

On Tuesday, Sonko suspended the two over lack of medicine in county public health facilities.
