Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has dismissed claims that there are cracks in his political outfit.
The former Vice President maintained that the Ukambani region is united amid rising political temperatures in the region.
He trashed governors Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni) and Alfred Mutua (Machakos) and Kitui’s Charity Ngilu's actions after they declared to chat the way forward for the people of this region.
“There are no wrangles in Wiper and Ukambani,” Kalonzo said.
The Ukambani political kingpin said he is not ready to comment on the three governors' actions.
“I don’t want to comment on what they have been saying because I know the people will deal with them at the right time,” he added.
On his part, Mutua has maintained that time for change has come and, Kalonzo must be ready to leave the leadership.
He argued that Kalonzo has failed the Ukambani residents hence doesn’t deserve to be supported for the nation’s top seat in 2022.
“We cant run away from the succession issue. The person leading the Kamba community is not known for being pro-development. There is a need for change of guard, it does not make sense for him to remain a kingpin for poor people,” Mutua concluded.
