In an apparent reference to President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, and ODM leader Raila Odinga, who he has been referring to as despots, Miguna said that they were not at peace when he appeared on the show.

The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader said he is a threat to President Kenyatta and Odinga.

“When revolutionaries speak, despots tremble. During the airing of my interview with Jeff Koinange on the #JKLive yesterday, everything came to a standstill in Kenya. Kenyans hate to see the despots or their collaborating con-men on TV. We will and must triumph," he said.

During the interview, Miguna claimed that President Kenyatta, and Odinga were scared of him, and wanted him sent away so that they can have peace.

“I was a direct threat to Uhuru and Raila because the president would have to deal with the kingmaker. Mr Odinga felt that even if he became president, he felt the succession was a foregone conclusion as he had already surrendered the quest for the presidency, he would have to deal with me. He then had now to (politically) cut my legs and head off,” said Miguna.
