"I am ready to help and support the governor because it's clear that he has failed to change the lives of our people. But he has to personally come to me," he said on Radio Nam Lolwe.

The former Kasipul lawmaker added that he is ready to use his skills to save Homa Bay residents, considering that he was ranked first in the county on matters proper utility of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

He added that he is ready to release his trusted persons to take over the corruption and non-functioning departments in the county.

"I cannot work for him but I can propose people who can help the county prosper. Otherwise, if nothing happens this year, then we will have lost the 10 years Ayugi has been in power since he has done absolutely nothing," he added.

He stressed on the need for the county leadership to do a lot this year, noting that it will not have any chance to do anything beginning next year as 2022 politics will have taken the centre stage.
