Beautiful ladies walking nearly naked, reckless sex and bars running short of alcohol are among the things that defined the Masaku 7'S tournament held on June 24, 2014, in Machakos County.
Shops ran short of condoms and lorries had to ferry. Statistics from the Health Ministry show that over 700,000 condoms were used.
The event's sight was a replica of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah.
The attendance was unbelievable and unimaginable. Teenagers from different parts of the country thronged the county to witness the event. Condom's demand was quite high. Both male and female condoms were available and were highly used by most people who attended the event.
Ngara who works with Liverpool's Voluntary Counseling and Testing Center as a Programme's officer praised the event described the event as historic and amazing tournament ever held in the country.
Unlike other events where they give out free condoms and later find them thrown away in the streets, people scrambled for condoms that day.
It is one of the events no parent would wish his child to attend.
I think most teenagers contracted Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI's) on that day.
