Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe will officiate the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier tie, which will be played at the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani on September 8.

Sikazwe will be assisted on the lines by Oliver Gift Mweene and Kabwe Chansa. Sikazwe, 39, made his debut in Belgium vs Panama Group G game on 18 June at the finals in Russia.

He made history as he became the first Zambian referee to officiate a game at the FIFA World Cup. The Black Stars will jet into the country on Thursday from their camp in Ethiopia, where they have pitched tent.

Ghana leads the group with 3 points, after winning their first match 5-0 against Ethiopia, while Kenya lost 2-1 away to Sierra Leon.

Harambee Stars will be hoping to have their captain Victor Wanyama fit for the match, which will be crucial.

Wanyama has missed the start of the season due to a niggling injury, which has been recurring over the past few months.

The injury kept him out of action for the better part of last season.
