Former Jubilee party interim vice-chairman David Murathe has ridiculed the Tangatanga faction of Jubilee leaders over a meeting held in Naivasha on Monday.
In a post in his official Facebook page on Monday, Murathe said that in Mombasa rally, the group which was led by Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen had assured the public of nonexistence of factions and competition when dealing with the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).:
However, Murathe asserted that the Tangatanga group went against their early commitment when they organized, mobilized and attended the Naivasha meeting.
"In Mombasa, tanga tanga choir master assured Kenyans that there is no more "US vs THEM" narrative. They made it public that they've honestly buried but ironically they resurrected and re-energize it in Naivasha within less than 24hrs beating Biblical Jesus record who resurrected after 3days," read the post.
On Monday, according to Star, more than 100 Jubilee and other leaders attended Naivasha meeting whose aim was to deliberate on matters concerning the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.
Majority of the legislators who were at the meeting, led by the Senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen were allied to the Deputy President William Ruto.
While at a BBI rally in Mombasa on Saturday, Kipchumba Murkomen had assured the public that all the leaders including those who were loyal to the DP fully supported the BBI report.
