Governor Mike Sonko has vowed to ruthlessly deal with 'cartels' in City Hall adding that he doesn't care.

Sonko, whose leadership style has caused panic in Nairobi County, further claims he has support of the majority of the residents.

"I don't condone nonsense. I will bully them if that will make City Hall a corruption free zone.

"Cartels do no have a room. Kidero tried corporate style and he failed. Allow me to use my method because it's working," he said in an interview at Citizen TV, Wednesday.

The stylish county boss also defended his decision to kick out a section of managers from Pumwani Hospital besides insisting that suspending top county officials was in order.

"They had neglected duty. My staff were under instructions to ommunicate our official position by the did the contrary. They deserve the suspension."

Asked about his habit of recording conversations, Sonko termed it a 'non-issue' adding that the question was not relevant.

On his relationship with Governor Ferdinand Waititu of Kiambu, he termed him a 'good  person, who is amongst top taxpayers in Nairobi'.
