The list of the top universities in Kenya is now available.
This is based on the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities report released this year.
Webometrics is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain.
According to their report, the University of Nairobi came first in Kenya while it ranks 990th in the world.
Kenyatta University took the second position in Kenya and ranked. Globally, KU is position 1596.
Egerton University beat Moi University which came 4th in Kenya ranking 1951 in the world.
