Kisumu Governor Professor Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o is the latest high profile leader to visit ailing National Super Alliance (NASA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Norman Magaya in hospital.
Governor Nyong’o who visited Magaya on Thursday said he is responding well to treatment.
Magaya is undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital after reportedly suffering a heart attack early this year.

“NASA CEO Mr. Norman Magaya is responding well to treatment. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes,” said the first-term governor. He has been in hospital since May this year.
On Wednesday, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga visited Magaya at the hospital.
He was accompanied by Mathare Member of Parliament Antony Oluoch. Odinga and Nyong’o’s trips to the hospital came hot on the heels of claims that the ODM Party leadership had abandoned Magaya at his hour of need.
However, the claims by one Dikembe Disembe were refuted by non other than Magaya himself.
The ailing NASA boss played a crucial role in the outfit before, during and after the 2017 general elections.
He was among the people who ensued smooth campaigns for Odinga as then NASA Presidential flag bearer, alongside his then running mate, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
