Renowned city lawyer and political analyst Steve Ogolla has taken a swipe at those allegedly claiming ODM leader Raila Odinga is a loser who never concede defeat.
In a damning tweet on Sunday, the lawyer rubbished those promoting the propaganda as being dishonest.
He further argued that the claims being propagated by those not supporting Raila are only seeking to divert the attention of the right-minded people.
"The claim that Raila Odinga is a sore loser who never concedes defeat is unbelievably lazy &dishonest, &reinforces the view that promoters of such claim have no regard for common sense. But that's not the problem. Problem is trying to co-opt the right-minded into such sloppiness," tweeted Ogolla.
Ogolla's claims come at a time when 2022 succession politics have taken the centre stage with several politicians declaring candidature in the country's race to the top seat.
With speculations that the former Prime Minister will vie again in 2022,DP Ruto has urged him to peacefully concede defeat if he will be triumphed.
"I have heard that the man who loves vitendawili (riddles) wants to run against me in 2022. It’s okay. But for now, I am busy implementing the Jubilee party manifesto and President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Big Four agenda.
“I have no problem competing with him but first he must assure Kenyans he will not cause chaos, and respect the will of Kenyans," said DP Ruto on Sunday as quoted by Standard.
However, Raila who has vied unsuccessfully vied for State House job on several occasions has not publicly declared 2022 Presidential bid.
