The outspoken activist said that the Apex court in the land did not give a ruling that reflects the will of the people of Homa Bay.

He accused the Judges of allegedly having taken bribes from the county boss, noting that the incumbent will always have an upper hand.

Alai said that Awiti is like a walking dead man because he cannot even go beyond his county yet he wants to lead the people.

“Like I said. Supreme Court is a bribe collection shop. Kenyan courts don’t trust even their own precedents. At the Supreme Court, the incumbent always has higher bribes. Mark that Awiti is blind and can’t even travel to Homa Bay. Deadman managing Homa Bay. Useless!!!” he wrote.

He also launched a scathing attack against Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga for what he termed as using his influence to impose leaders on the people while referring to Awiti and his Kisumu Counterpart Anyang Nyong’o.

Awiti's rival Oyugi Magwanga had twice beaten him at the High and Appellate courts before he emerged victorious at the Supreme Court. Magwanga wanted Awiti's win nullified citing massive illegalities and irregularities in the election exercise.
