Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has today met the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) South Eastern branch chairman Justus Mutia, and other officials at the county.
In a series of tweets, Governor Mutua revealed that they discussed issues pertaining to administration of justice in the region.
“This morning, I was paid a courtesy call by Mr Justus Mutia, Advocate and Chair of the Law Society of Kenya, South Eastern branch and other officials. We discussed on the administration of justice in the region and other areas of mutual cooperation,” he tweeted.
Governor Mutua further noted that the LSK officials agreed to provide his government with legal advice on best practices.
“We have also agreed that the Law Society branch will be providing my government with legal advice on best practices and I look forward to a great working relationship with them,” he said.
Also present at the meeting was the County Chief Legal Officer James Kathili.
