Early on Thursday, both sides threw barbs on social media forums with allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta's chief campaigner, Walter Nyambati, accusing Governor John Nyagarama (ODM) of incompetence.

And in a rejoinder, Nyagarama's supporters fires back claiming that the ruling will automatically send Nyambati to retire.

But even as this happened, three judges led by Simon Muhandia are expected to deliver a ruling by mid-day.

Mr. Nyambati, a former Kitutu Masaba MP, lost in High Court in February, a decision he rejected.

At the Appeals Court, President Uhuru's lawyer, Fred Ngatia, was one of his lead counsels.

During August polls, Nyambati emerged second with 59,000 in an election won by Nyagarama (65,000 votes).

Days to October 26th polls, Uhuru vowed to have the election overturned in court at a meeting in Nakuru State Lounge.

A nullification on the other hand will be headache to Raila Odinga, whose party also lost Homa Bay gubernatorial petition.
