A video of embattled Governor Okoth Obado’s lifestyle behind bars has emerged.
Obado is living a squalor life at the Industrial Area prison and contrary to earlier reports that the county boss was receiving preferential treatment; he is living like other inmates.
The video shows Obado’s ‘home’ at the block where those facing a capital offence of murder stay.

The county chief is spending every second at the facility praying that he secures a bail when he returns to court on Wednesday, October 24.
He will be at the high court for a ruling by Justice Jessie Lessit.
The governor, his personal assistant Michael Juma Oyamo and Migori County assembly clerk Casper Obiero were charged with the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno and her unborn child on September 3, 2018.
Already, Obado has made changes to his legal term where he dropped criminal lawyer Cliff Ombeta as the lead counsel and replaced him with lawyer Fred Ngatia.
Ngatia shot to the public limelight during his moments at President Uhuru Kenyatta’s lawyer in the presidential election petitions in 2013 and 2017.
