A prime suspect in the attempted assassination of Adan Muktar, Former Finance CEC, Thursday committed suicide.

The identity of the suspect has been revealed.

His name is David Wanjiru Mwai.

According to the police, the suspect claimed to have pulled the trigger on the former county executive.

Muktar was trailed by gunmen and shot at close range by gunmen who took off after committing the assassination attempt.
