Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested one of the most wanted criminals from Mombasa.
In a tweet on Sunday, the DCI revealed that Ali Abdalla Abdillatif alias Bliza Bliza was arrested in Nairobi.
Ali was arrested in the company of another 25-years-old man, Daniel Muigai Nganga, whom the DCI didn't reveal whether he was a gang member too or not.
"Detectives acting on information have today arrested 23 years old Ali Abdalla Abdillatif alias Bliza Bliza- a MOST WANTED CRIMINAL from Kisauni, Mombasa. He was arrested at 11th Street, Eastleigh together with 25 years old Daniel Muigai Nganga. Both in custody awaiting further police Action," said DCI said in a tweet.
Police say Ali is a common gang member who had been on their radar for a very long time.
He is suspected to be among other nine members of a criminal gang whom the police had placed a notice on for the public to be aware of them.
"Wanted. Old town youth gang. Report to the nearest police station or chief or call 999," reads part of the police notice.

The two are in police custody and are expected to be arraigned in court within 24 hours of their arrest.
