Speaking during an interview with NTV at his Karen home on Thursday, Ruto said that there is a side of the story he also wants to share with the committee as far as issues affecting Kenyans are concerned.

He requested the Senator Yusuf Haji-led committee to schedule a meeting with him as well so that he also contributes to the recommendations made by other leaders and the general public.

"I want Yusuf Haji (BBI committee chair) to give me an opportunity to present my ideas," he said.

The second in command also said that the report is about the people of this nation.  He alluded that all Kenyans are expected to give their opinions in the report regardless of their class or socio-economic backgrounds.

"The BBI is a people of Kenya project. It is a programme where every Kenyan irrespective of your station. Whether you are a Mama mboga or Makanga whatever is your station. You have the opportunity to make your contribution to give your contribution and to give suggestions on how to take Kenya forward," he said.

Ruto also confirmed that he will be attending BBI meeting. The announced came after his allies made a dramatic u-turn on the same.

"We are going to attend BBI rallies, every Kenyan is free to attend the rallies," he said.
