His retirement from the national team has left a gap that Low needs to fill for preparation of the EURO 2020.
Maina has been playing for the German’s U16-19 sides for up to 21 times and is contracted to Hannover 96 until 2022. He has become an integral part of the club, with assists and good play whenever called upon to play.
