The two different accidents that have occurred in Naivasha has led to the death of two people and four others severely injured.
The first accident occurred at Governor's camp near Longonot town where a trailer collided head-on with a Canter which headed to Mai Mahiu where the trailer's died instantly.
Four others who were in the company of the driver had serious fractures in their limbs.
Phillip Njihia, who was present during the accident said that the three people who had boarded the Canter had injuries but were taken to Mai Mahiu hospital for treatment.
Njihia pointed out that the one to be blamed for causing the accident is the Canter's driver who had overtaken many cars before finally hitting the trailer.
"The accident occurred very fast with the driver of the trailer dying on the spot while four other people were seriously injured,” he said.
In accident two, an unknown pedestrian was hit by a motorist who was speeding along Moi South Lake Road in Naivasha.
The motorist escaped from the accident scene but the pedestrian was confirmed dead upon reaching Naivasha Sub County Hospital.
"The man does not have any identification documents and was walking along the dilapidated road when the accident occurred,” said a witness, Abel Mwangi.
OCPD Samuel Waweru attached to Naivasha has confirmed the two accidents adding that the lifeless bodies were taken to a nearby mortuary.
