Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has once again fired shots at Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga, terming him a non-performer.
Speaking in Olosangarai in Turbo, Uasin Gishu County on Friday, Khalwale accused the former Prime Minister of having no effect whatsoever on the lives of Kenyans.
He branded him a "deadwood" who must retire, adding that the same applies to the Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli.
The leader who has not been in good terms with both leaders insisted that Atwoli must vacate the position for failing to deliver, claiming that he is instead oppressing workers.
"Atwoli kutoka kwetu nayeye pia aende kwa kunyanyasa wafanyikazi. They are called non performing Kenyans ama kwa lugha nyingine dead wood. Atwoli you are dead wood, Raila you are dead wood, you must go," he said.
This loosely translates to; "Atwoli from my backyard should also leave for oppressing workers. Atwoli you are dead wood, Raila you too are deadwood."
He added that the same applies to embattled Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) boss Wilson Sossion who was on Friday suspended and his position handed over to his deputy Hesbone Otieno on an acting capacity.
According to Khalwale, Sossion has failed to use his position as Raila's ODM party nominated MP to fight for the teachers and should, therefore, be replaced immediately.
"Sossion if you cannot use the opportunity you have in Parliament today to advance the interest of teachers; Sossion uondolewe, uende mbali (you should be kicked out and leave completely)," he added.
