Residents of Inani village in Magombo, Manga were left in a rude shock after a 34-year-old man busted his mother with another man and committed suicide on Monday.
Neighbours said the deceased Justin Makori has been complaining about his mother identified as Pauline Nyamoti, a widow of having an affair with other men after his father died 4 years ago.
"Makori, a bodaboda rider returned home from work, stormed his mother's bedroom where he found her with a man in bed enjoying the forbidden fruit," said Abel Barongo.
Barongo said Makori picked a quarrel with his 50-year-old mother after the man whose identity is yet to be revealed escaped from the bedroom through the window.
"Makori threatened to behead his mother over her continued immoral behavior but neighbours rushed to the homestead to calm him down," he said.
Area assistant chief Edward Manwaye said after the quarrel the deceased retired to bed.
"His lifeless body was found by his mother hanging from a tree outside the family's compound on Tuesday morning," said the chief.
He urged widows to respect their children and stop bringing men careless to have sex inside their houses.
The chief said the deceased body was taken to a Nyamira hospital morgue.
