Speaking on Wednesday, the commentator said that Kenyans are likely to reject the BBI report should it propose constitutional amendments to expand the executive.

He said that if taken to the polls, it's very likely that it will be defeated, which will mark the first-ever defeat of a joint effort by the two national and powerful political figures.

The High Court advocate, who doubles up as a Uhuru insider said that he will be among the persons who will oppose such suggestions, despite his closeness to the President.

"This might be the first time that Uhuru and Raila are combined on one side but still lose. It will be very hard. We will oppose it," he said on KBC English Service.

He also rubbished claims that the BBI report is a secret, saying that judging by the remarks the two have been making about it, its clear that they know it's contents.

Weda, also a member of the Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA), said that otherwise, they would not be pledging their support for it if they were in the dark.

"I have heard Raila and the president commenting on it. How do you comment on something you don't know? It's not a secret or a sealed document," he added.

According to Weda, Kenya has other issues to deal with, as constitutional amendments will neither tame corruption nor create more employment openings for the jobless Kenyans.

Uhuru, Raila and his allies have since promised to push the report to success once presented to them.
