Jane Marriot, the UK ambassador to Kenya held talks with the two leaders which also saw the participation of the United States.

According to the DCI, fight against corruption and the war against Al-Shabaab featured in the talks which were held on Tuesday morning.

Kenya is struggling to curb corruption besides keeping terrorists at bay, with the country being exposed to at least 11 attacks in the past one month.

"British High Commissioner @JaneMarriottFCO & the United States Deputy envoy to Kenya Mr Eric Kneedler today morning held discussions with the Director @DCI_Kenya, Director @ODPP_KE & @EACCKenya CEO," read the tweet.

"The discussions bordered on among others the ongoing fight against corruption and counterterrorism."

Al-Shabaab militants recently attacked Camp Simba in Manda Bay killing three Americans, a move that led to deployment of more American troops.

Further, three men are still under police custody in Laikipia when they were intercepted trying to make forceful entry to British military base.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has previously backed the two top government leaders in their efforts to held his government fight corruption.
