How you handle your child will determine his or her success as well as failure. A stressed child will undoubtedly perform poorly in school. You have to reconsider somethings to make your child happy. 

Here are three ways to help your child handle school stress:

1. Get more sleep

Lack of sleep is among the leading contributors to stress. When you lack sleep, you are likely to get disturbed all the time. Make sure your daughter or son sleeps for at least eight hours. Give them room to sleep longer over the weekends to fight stress. 

2. Discuss with him or her

Communication is paramount between a parent and a kid. Embrace open communication whenever your child is stressed out by school matters. Ask the child to speak out whenever he or she has a problem. 

Through open communication, it becomes easier to know what your child deserves in life. You will also know the source of the stress so that you can handle the same.

3. Stop being too critical

Over criticism is not recommended when nurturing a child. It is good to correct the child but mind the way you do the same. Make sure you do not repeat the same thing until it amounts to criticism.
