Rachael Shebesh is trying hard to revive Tanga Tanga brigade using the death of former Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso, Tiaty MP William Kamket has claimed.
In reference to Shebesh's Friday eulogy to Mrs Laboso, Kamket accused her on a tweet of reviving the dwindling fortunes of Tanga Tanga, a team closely associated with DP William Ruto.
"Rachel Shebesh, Cecile Mbarire.... et al. You will not use the unfortunate death of our sister Joyce Laboso to try and revive the sinking, stinking Tangatanga ship full of thieves and being stewarded by a thief. Haiwezekani," he said.
During the service, Ms Shebesh said that despite the political formations, Jubilee government must remain united under the leadership of the President and his deputy.
“Joyce (Laboso) is not giving you a choice today. You were brought together by the people of Kenya and it is only them who will separate you,” said Ms Shebesh.
She insisted that the president and the DP had no option other than to work together, adding that it was the wish of the former governor for the two to reconcile.
“As friends of Joyce we know there are things she wanted us to do and some of them we will make them public. I know Mr President and the Deputy President she told you personally that she was concerned about the division, the people of Kenya are tired," said Ms Shebesh.
While her statement reflected that she was rooting for reunion of Uhuru-Ruto bromance, Shebesh has been however, working closely with Kieleweke team.
The Handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga seems to have disoriented Jubilee administration, forcing DP Ruto at times to blame Mr Odinga.
