Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i argued that it's regrettable that Ragira will be buried before his killers are brought to book.

"It is very unfortunate that Ragira's burial date is nearing but, police officers are yet to arrest those who shot him dead. Police need to up their game to ensure the murderers are brought to book without delay," he said.

The vocal lawmaker insisted that the family of the deceased should get justice because he was deliberately killed.

"Ragira left a young daughter and wife behind. There is need for detectives to produce the killers and arraign them in court for the hearts of the family members to be at peace," he noted.

Tong'i reiterated the need for outlawed gang groups to be flushed out completely.

"We can't continue having people joining gang groups to attack and kill innocent people. Gang groups such as Mungiki need to be dealt with accordingly," he added.
