The late Egesa FM Presenter and comedian Joseph Mochere famously known as Okebiro O'mose had planned to wed his wife Teresa Moraa, later in the year, it has been revealed.
Okebiro committed suicide two weeks ago in his house after a domestic quarrel.
Speaking at his funeral ceremony held at Ebchoro village in West Mugirango, Nyamira County on Friday, Lawrence Nyaanga, a priest based in Kisii revealed that Okebiro had once approached him with the news that he wanted to tie the knot with Moraa.
"Okebiro was a good friend of mine. He informed me that he could wish me to preside over a wedding he was planning with his wife, Teresa Moraa but, unfortunately he met his death before he can fulfill his plans," said Nyaanga.
The priest stated that God knew very well why Okebiro had to leave the world that early and urged family members, villagers, friends and relatives to accept and move on.
"God had plans that Okebiro could leave us at the time we needed him most. He was an influential person who has been against drug abuse, bribery by our government officers and lazy people in the society. Let his soul rest in eternal peace, Amen," he noted.
