Already, there exists two factions within the ruling Jubilee party which nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura says could ruin service delivery if not cured.

"There are problems in Jubilee and let us not lie to each other. Jubilee members are being asked to choose between team Kieleweke and team Tanga Tanga," he said.

Following the escalating divisions, President Uhuru Kenyatta is said to have cancelled a party's PG to avert a major fallout before passing of 2018/19 estimates.

And a source says Uhuru is keen to know the number of MPs who support his agenda even as reports emerged that Mt. Kenya MPs have been sanctioned against attending Ruto's rallies.

"The president is keen to know MPs loyal to him. After doing that, it will be easy to chat his own way forward. Remember he also has a backing of NASA legislators."

While Uhuru has remained defiant in fight against graft, a section of leaders allied to DP Ruto have accused him of using it as a tool to sabotage Ruto's 2022 bid.

But in his subsequent rallies, Uhuru has maintained that his war against graft is unstoppable besides warning a camp backing Ruto's presidential ambitions.

Should he establish numbers, Uhuru will not fear unleashing against his deputy since he will still have numbers in parliament to push for his agenda.
