Popular TV personality Willis Raburu is leaving Citizen TV.
The celebrated presenter has left his fans guessing over the circumstances that led to his resignation.
In a message he posted on his Instagram and WhatsApp status, the presenter compares himself to a caged bird and says he has no choice but to leave.
"Some birds are not meant to be caged, that's all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go or when you open the cage to feed them, they somehow fly past you," read part of the message posted by Raburu.
It remains unclear whether he left in good or bad terms.
His departure comes weeks after Kaze Dena was appointed the Deputy State House spokesperson.
Raburu has been working at the station for several years.
The talented presenter used to host the popular 10 over 10 show on Citizen TV.
He also covered the weekly segment ‘Truthmeter’.
His departure is a big blow to the Royal Media services whose presenters have been leaving for other stations.
Swale Salim and Hot 96 host,Jalang'o also left the station recently under unclear circumstances.
