Canada Pop singer, Justin Bieber has disclosed that he is suffering from Lyme disease and not drug addiction.
Lyme disease is a bacterial infection carried by ticks according to the CNN.
The 25-year-old divulged the news on his Instagram on Wednesday following speculation that he was on 'Meth' drugs.
"While a lot of people kept saying Justin Bieber looks like s***, on meth etc. they failed to realize I've been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my, skin, brain function, energy, and overall health," Bieber wrote.
Hi followers started a debate about his health after a public appearance where he was seen looking sickly with blotched skin as according to BBC.
The singer revealed the news, days after he released his single song 'Yummy' which is his debut track after four years off the stage.
He further promised to explain his battle with the disease on YouTube and vowed to be back and better as he explained to his 124M followers according to the Washington Post.
"These things will be explained further in a docu series I’m putting on YouTube shortly... You can learn all that I've been battling and OVERCOMING!! It's been a rough couple years but getting the right treatment that will help treat this so far incurable disease and I will be back and better than ever," he added.
