Political analyst Herman Manyora has told the Nation to prepare for a super shocking candidate as President Uhuru Kenyatta's choice for the 2022 presidential race.
Speaking in Nyeri county moths ago, Uhuru warned politicians against attempting to make predictions, sating that his endorsement will shock many.
In his YouTube analysis channel 'Take it or Leave it' on Saturday, Manyora said that the person Uhuru has in mind might not even be a politician at all.
He told the nation to prepare for a Jimmy Wanjigi endorsement, saying that the celebrated tycoon has done a lot for the presidency and could take it home.
"It could be none other that Jimmy Wanjigi. The latter has done a lot for the presidency," he said.
Wanjigi, currently an opposition ally, has admitted to having plated a major role in the election of Uhuru in 2013.
He is also believed to have bankrolled the opposition campaigns in 2017.
On the other hand, said the commentator, Uhuru might stick to his initial pledge and back his deputy William Ruto whom he seems to be isolating now.
He said that this will shock many as most Kenyans are already anticipating their fallout due to Uhuru's March 9 truce with opposition leader Raila Odinga which to many seems to have taken him out of the picture.
"It can be Ruto because so far people see that the handshake has excluded him from the presidential race. By Uhuru naming him, the nation will be shocked," he added.
His analysis, however, comes at a time when all the three leaders have called for political calm, stressing on the need for Kenyans to remain concentrated on matters development.
