Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has lauded the confidence showed by Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa and her Nyali counterpart Mohammed Ali after their press conference was disrupted by angry youths.
The lawmaker took to his Facebook page on Friday to congratulate the duo after they managed to attend to the press conference even after the disruption at Lotus Hotel, Mombasa.
"I love that confidence and resilience @Hon Aisha Jumwa and @ Hon Moha Jicho Pevu hapo sawa (that's cool)," Kuria posted on his officials Facebook Page.
The vocal legislator further attacked BBI saying the youths were building bridges of unity.
In his post, Moses Kuria seems to be mocking BBI that instead of bringing people together as claimed by some leaders, it was bringing division.
"The youths were carrying stones to complete bridges of love and unity. (Vijana wamebeba mawe ya kukamilisha madaraja ya umoja na uwiano)," the MP, an ally of Deputy President William Ruto posted.
After the ugly scene at Lotus Hotel, the coastal leaders led by Jumwa vowed to attend the BBI rally saying they must air the grievances facing people at the coast.
“If BBI is for inclusivity, then we Coast leaders should be given time to give our views since it is happening in the Coast region. We shall attend the Tononoka meeting on Saturday and we have a right to air our views,” said Ms Jumwa, according to Nation.
