Early this week, Mr. Musyoka's father, Peter Musyoka died in a Nairobi hospital after a short illness.

Raila's trip to Kalonzo's home comes barely 24, hours after a team of NASA senators led by James Orengo and Mutula Kilonzo visited to condole the family of Mr. Musyoka.

He said: "Condoled my brother @skmusyoka at his Karen home following the passing on of his Father the late Mzee Peter Musyoka Mairu.

"We ask the Lord to grant comfort to his family at this trying moment and may his soul rest in eternal peace."https://twitter.com/RailaOdinga/status/1057915820544847873?s=19.

In late December last year, Kalonzo hosted Mr. Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula a day to Raila's controversial swearing in.

Thereafter, the political landscape and realignments changed after the rest failed to turn up at Uhuru Park for the much hyped oath taking.

A day after the event, Musyoka claimed that police had besieged his house, adding that a bomb had been thrown to frighten him along with Wetangula and Mudavadi.

Raila has been in South Africa where he formally assumed his roles on Infrastructural Development given by the African Union.
