On Saturday Mutua took to his Facebook page to explain that although he has received a lot of complaints,  he cannot ban the program since it airs outside the watershed period given by the board, 51m to 10 pm.

He narrated that he has had issues with the programme and even condemned it but his hands are tied.

"I have personally had issues with this program and have condemned it in no uncertain terms. But you see, 10/10 comes past 10 pm, meaning it's outside the watershed period (5 am to 10 pm)," said Mutua.

He noted that according to the program host the people onboard all have attained the legal age.

"The host Willis Raburu has corrupted the airwaves with the nonsense that appears to admit underage children, although he says that all those who attend have IDs.The way he conducts the show makes it look like a discotheque on air. It's a night club brought to your tv with all immorality and obscenity live on stage," he added.

He intimated that the only thing that can stop the show by Kenyans boycotting the show.

He asked parents to advise their children against watching the programme and stop abrogating their roles to other people.

"Deny Citizen TV audience, particularly the Willis Raburu crap and it will go off the air. Even a more fundamental question is whose children are these on such live tv discotheque? If their parents don't care why should I?" he posed.
