Kenyan acrobat Wendi Waeni's former manager Joe Mwangi has responded after being accused of stealing from her.
Mwangi rubbished claims of stealing from the 14-year-old. He notes that someone might have coached the girl to say what she said during JKLive Show on Wednesday night.
Wendi revealed that she has never received any money from her various performances across the world. She further noted that she has no access or control to her social media account.
Kenyans came out in large numbers to attack Mwangi. He came out through Twitter to defend himself.
He wrote a message to Duncan Ondimu, who is a Principal Prosecution Counsel in the office of the DPP asking him whether the law protects him.
"Before I respond to this ,senior @matundura78 ,Kindly make me understand the law that protects me on this whole issue should it turn that someone coached the minor to give mis-leading information on National Television," he wrote.
In a series of tweets, he dismissed Wendy's claims on live TV.
"On the video, it has been said that I (Joe) has travelled all over the world with Wendy, FACT: I have NEVER, NEVER EVER left this country in the company of Wendy Waeni. Anybody with any prove that i have flew out any given time with her,put it here (sic)," he said.
He also rubbished off claims that Wendy performed for 5 years without receiving any penny.
"Its alleged that for more than 5 yrs Wendy has never received a penny, I mean....which parent in this World will allow his/her kid to be mis-used (sic) for not 1 month, not 1 year, but 5 yrs," he said.
"For now someone kindly save this photo you will come to understand who the interested parties and scriptwriter is in the next few days," he added.
